Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 8, 2026

UNSKIP TECH operates unskiptech.com, a website publishing practical technology guides. This notice explains information handled when you browse the site, leave a comment, or contact us. For privacy questions, email chs081115@gmail.com.

Email Inquiries

Our Contact page provides an email address. When you write to us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you send. We use this information to respond to questions, corrections, and business inquiries. Correspondence is handled through Gmail. Avoid sending passwords, recovery keys, or information that is unnecessary for your inquiry.

Comments and Profile Images

When you submit a comment, WordPress stores the information entered in the form, including your name, email address, comment, and website address if supplied. It also records your IP address and browser information for comment administration and spam checks. Your displayed name, comment, and any website link can be public; your email address is not displayed in the normal comment listing.

The site supports Gravatar profile images. An email-derived hash may be sent to Gravatar to locate your image, which can appear beside your comment. See Automattic’s privacy policy for that service.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand visits, pages viewed, and how readers find and use our guides. Analytics can use cookies and browser or device information to measure activity. Data is processed by Google; see how Google uses information from sites using its services.

Google provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. This controls the Analytics collection covered by the add-on; it does not stop information you submit in comments or email, or information needed to serve and secure the website.

Cookies and Website Security

The comment form offers an optional checkbox to remember your name, email, and website in your browser for future comments. WordPress’s default duration for these comment cookies is one year. Login and display-preference cookies also support accounts used to administer the site.

You can review, block, or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies can affect remembered details and login features. The site’s hosting and security tools may also process request information, such as IP addresses and attempted page requests, to operate the website and investigate abuse or failed login attempts.

External Services and Links

Our guides link to other websites, including software and device manufacturers. Their privacy practices apply when you visit them. Google provides our Analytics and Gmail services, and Gravatar provides supported profile images; these providers process information under their own policies and may process it in countries outside your own. For information about affiliate links, see our Affiliate Disclosure.

Stored Information and Requests

Comments and their associated details can remain in WordPress indefinitely unless removed. Email correspondence remains in our mailbox unless deleted. Analytics and service-provider records follow the relevant service settings and policies. Deleting a public comment does not necessarily remove copies from email notifications, backups, or another provider’s systems.

Contact chs081115@gmail.com to ask about information associated with your comments or messages, request a correction, or request a copy or deletion. Include the relevant page or correspondence and use the email address associated with it where possible. We may need to verify the request before acting. Some information may need to be retained for security or legal reasons.

Updates to This Notice

Changes to the site’s services or information practices may require an updated notice. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.
